Quo Vadis? Where are we going?
In the tumultuous roller coaster ride of life one has little time to pause and reflect. But reflect we must.
For we, who were privileged to study at Topiwala National Medical College and Bai Yamunabai Laxman (BYL) Nair Hospital, the answer is crystal clear. We are going places, thanks to the wonderful all-round education we received at our alma mater.
Each of us can conjure up treasured moments from the classrooms, the laboratories, the wards, the common rooms and the hostel. Those were heady days of triumphs and defeats, of laughter and crying, of academics and fun. Most of us used our sojourn to become good doctors and, above all, good human beings.

As an interventional cardiologist, our president invites every TNMCite to help spread basic life support skills, including the use of automatic external defibrillators, starting in Mumbai and then across India.
